Figures Gallery
We encourage readers to use and share figures from the New York State Climate Impacts Assessment, with attribution. This gallery provides a freely downloadable high-resolution bitmap (PNG) version of nearly every numbered figure from the technical chapters of the assessment. Photographs are an exception, as they are generally subject to copyright and not available for use outside of the assessment.
Each gallery entry provides the figure title, caption text, and an ownership statement. Certain figures were originally created by others and have been reproduced or adapted for this assessment. If you wish to use or adapt one of these figures in a publication, you will also need permission from the original publisher. The remaining figures were produced by the assessment authors and may be reused, republished, or adapted with attribution as described below. Please refer to the ownership statement on a figure’s gallery page for specific guidance on the use of the figure.
